Application for Summer 2026 - Deadline: 1 February 2026

 

Interested applicants are required to submit: 

  • completed application form

  • statement of interest (max. 500 words)

  • CV

  • two letters of recommendation

All components of the application must be sent to apply.geneva.indigenous.institute@gmail.com prior to the application deadline on 1 February 2026.

Students must be fluent in English as all lectures and discussions are conducted in English.

Cost

​

The cost of the entire two-week, in-person program is US$3,000 per person, including tuition and some meals.

 

Additionally, the International Institute for Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and Policy offers optional housing arrangements in Geneva for the duration of the program. The additional housing cost is approximately US$900 per person in shared hostel accommodation and includes a public transportation pass in Geneva and a light breakfast.

 

Scholarships and financial assistance for travel may be available based on need. For financial aid requests, please include a letter explaining the need for financial aid and any supporting documentation, if relevant, with your application.
